    tuck is only used for fast rotation dives it was replaced with pike bc of the dd and straight position dives have a high rate of bad things happening just because of the fact that you cant slow or speed up your rotation if you need to

    why do they only do the dives in pike? no love for tucks or even staight anymore?

    The numbers represent the direction and number of somersaults while the letter represents the position. In the hundreds place 100’s= forward, 200’s= backward, 300’s= reverse or “gainer”, 400= inward. the number in the 1’s place is the number of flips (goes by half of a flip each number). ie, 101= forward dive and 102 = forward flip. so go up to 109 and its 4.5 somersaults. Letters go A= straight, B= pike, C= tuck, and D= free (for twisters).

    Yeah that was a 109c, 4 1/2 tuck for like 8s and 9s.. pretty damn cool

    1m……. i would say 3m finals or some tower, thats where the real diving is where it is at, not 1m. 1m meter is too low.
