Who is ’supposed’ to get the number 1 seeds in the NCAA Selection Sunday?

Does anybody know who’s ’supposed’ to get the number 1 seeds in the NCAA tournament?
I thought it would be the 1, 2, 3, and 4 positions in the standings but my friend doesn’t think so. I was wondering who was expected to get the number 1 seeds.

Well i truely believe that UNC will, PITT will, Lousiville, and either UCONN, or Memphis, which i think Memphis should because UCONN lost twice to PITT and lost 2 straight one against Syracuse, when Memphis has shown they are a dominate team all year.
